Boeing announces 777 order from Garuda Indonesia

Aircraft manufacturer The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) has announced that it has received an order from Jakarta-based Garuda Indonesia for four 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircraft.

The company said that, at list prices, the order is valued at more than USD1bn.

In addition the airline confirmed a previous unidentified order for seven Next-Generation 737-800s which was placed in 2007 and also said that it has converted 18 of its existing 737-700s on order to 737-800s and six 777-200ERs on order to 777-300ERs.
