Detroit to Salt Lake City, Utah service announced by Northwest

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

A new daily nonstop service from Northwest Airlines' (NYSE: NWA) Detroit World Gateway is to be launched to Salt Lake City, Utah, effective 5 June 2008.

The airline said that Northwest flight 859 will depart Detroit at 10:40 and arrive in Salt Lake City at 12:40, whilst Northwest flight 860 will depart Salt Lake City at 12:00 and arrive in Detroit at 17:30.

The airline said that the new service will be operated using 124-seat A319 Airbus aircraft.
