Funds for Boeing deliveries raised by Emirates

Dubai based carrier Emirates has announced that it has raised funds of USD253m to finance two new Boeing 777 aircraft.
The airline said that the 12-year finance leases were underwritten by three financial institutions: HSH Nordbank AG, Mashreqbank.psc and Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd.
Scheduled for delivery in January 2008, the two new aircraft are comprised of a Boeing 777-200LR and a Boeing 777-300ER. Both will be deployed on the airline's long-haul services.
