Boeing receives order from Continental Airlines

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
A total of 27 aircraft have been added by Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) to its firm order positions at Boeing.
The additions reportedly include eight new 777 and 19 new Next-Generation 737 (737NG) aircraft and brings Continental's total firm commitments to 111 new Boeing aircraft, comprised of 25 Boeing 787s, eight Boeing 777s and 78 Boeing 737s.
The aircraft will be delivered over the next six years.
In addition Continental also revealed that it has options to purchase a total of 102 additional Boeing aircraft.
