Arrest made at Miami International Airport

An arrest was made on Monday (25 February) at Miami International Airport after a man ran from security screeners.

The man, named as Faid Beydoun, reportedly ran from the screeners after being asked to step out of line when his travel documents raised suspicion.

According to The Associated Press, Beydoun ran from the screeners and then jumped 25 feet off the second floor concourse, breaking his arm and ribs as a result.

Beydoun, who is being held at the hospital ward of the Miami-Dade jail at Jackson Memorial Hospital, has been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence.
