An in-flight audio book service is to be launched by Korean carrier Asiana Airlines from March 2008.

The launch will make the carrier the first Korean airline to offer such a service.

The airline revealed that for the service's launch month it is to offer 10 audio books, including Greek & Roman Myths; Aladdin and the Magic Lamp; and Innovation Story. Asiana reportedly plans to increase the number of books available later in the year to 30.

According to Chosun Ilbo, South Korea, the service will be initially available on aircraft HL7428 flying on the New York and Manila routes and HL7528 on the Beijing, Narita and Hanoi routes.
