Complaint filed by SkyWest Inc over dispute with Delta Air Lines

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
A complaint has been filed in the Superior Court of Fulton County, State of Georgia, by SkyWest Inc (Nasdaq: SKYW) against Delta Air Lines Inc (NYSE: DAL).
The complaint reportedly relates to a dispute under the Delta Connection Agreements entered into between Delta and SkyWest Airlines Inc and Atlantic Southeast Airlines Inc (ASA). SkyWest Airlines and ASA are wholly-owned subsidiaries of SkyWest Inc.
As a result of the dispute Delta allegedly withheld a combined total of approximately USD25m (pretax) from one of its weekly scheduled wire payments to SkyWest Airlines and ASA during December 2007.
