ATW names Star Alliance winner of Market Leadership Award

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Star Alliance has been named by Air Transport World as the 2008 winner of its Market Leadership Award.
The company said that this represents the first time that a leading monthly airline magazine has selected an airline alliance for the award.
In addition Star Alliance member carriers, Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines, also received awards from the publication. Air New Zealand received a Passenger Service award and Singapore Airlines was selected for the Airline of the Year.
