Traffic statistics for January 2008 revealed by GOL

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (NYSE: GOL) (Bovespa: GOLL4), the parent company of Brazilian airlines GOL Transportes Aereos S.A. and VRG Linhas Aereas S.A., has reported preliminary passenger statistics for the month of January 2008.

The company said that consolidated domestic passenger traffic (RPK) for January 2008 increased 20% and capacity (ASK) increased 31% year-over-year.

In addition domestic consolidated load factor for the month was 70% and international consolidated load factor was 64%, whilst GOL's total system load factor for January was 69%.

GTA's domestic passenger traffic (RPK) for January 2008 was 1,759m and capacity (ASK) was 2,434m, whilst international passenger traffic (RPK) was 234m and capacity (ASK) was 302m, the company said.

VRG's domestic passenger traffic (RPK) for January 2008 was 188m and capacity (ASK) was 345m. International passenger traffic (RPK) was 405m and capacity (ASK) was 692m.
