Capacity for the Olympic Games increased by Northwest Airlines

An increase in capacity for the 2008 Olympic Games has been announced by Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA).

The carrier will reportedly utilise a Boeing 747-400 for the Beijing Olympics from its hub in Tokyo between 29 July and 29 August 2008, replacing the Airbus A330 service.

The 747-400 will offer 65 seats in World Business Class and 338 seats in the main cabin.
