Hawaiian Airlines announces start date for Honolulu - Manila service

Hawaiian Airlines has revealed details of its new direct service between Honolulu and Manila, including the start dates, flight schedule and fares prices.

The airline said the flights will be launched from Honolulu on 14 April and from Manila on 17 April 2008 with four flights weekly. Tickets are available for sale from several sources: the airline's website; its reservations call centre; and through travel agents in the United States and the Philippines.

Hawaiian Flight455 will fly from Honolulu International Airport on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila the following day. For the return, Flight456 will leave Manila on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive in Honolulu the same day (as Manila is 18 hours ahead of Honolulu and the flight crosses the International Dateline.)

Hawaiian will operate the new with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
