Continental Airlines contributes to pension plans

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) has contributed USD60m in cash to its defined benefit pension plans.
The airline also said that it contributed USD336m to its pension plans in 2007, which is significantly above the required funding level for the year.
