Australia's Qantas Airways is to increase service to Honolulu from three to four times weekly from 5 April.
Qantas executive general manager John Borghetti said the airline is experiencing strong demand on the route and that the strong Australian dollar has made Hawaii a very attractive destination. The new service, operated on Saturdays from Sydney, is in addition to the three weekly services departing Sydney on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and will be operated with Boeing 767-300 aircraft.
