Turbulence causes injury to passengers on United Airlines flight

Eight passenger and two flight attendants were injured as a result of heavy turbulence on United Airlines Flight 1028 on Monday (21 January).
The Boeing 757, which was on its way to Chicago, was forced to land at approximately 03:00 at Denver International Airport. The ten injured were transferred to local hospitals.
The aircraft, which was carrying 187 passengers and crew, was en-route from Los Angeles, The Associated Press reported.
