New service to three Gulf Coast destinations announced by US Airways

US Airways (NYSE:LCC) has announced that it is to launch services to three new Gulf Coast destinations from its hub in Charlotte, North Carolina, effective from 6 April.

The airline plans to offer new services to the Florida cities of Fort Walton Beach and Panama City, as well as to Gulfport/Biloxi, Mississippi. The Gulfport/Biloxi service will become operational on 4 May.

The carrier said that the new service will be operated by wholly owned US Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines using 50-seat Bombardier manufactured Canadair CRJ200 regional jets.
