Eight 777 freighters ordered by Deucalion for lease to AeroLogic

Deucalion Capital VII Limited, a company advised and managed by DVB Bank AG, has acquired eight Boeing 777 Freighters for lease to AeroLogic, a new joint venture airline formed by Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express, Boeing (NYSE: BA) has revealed.
The eight aircraft, which are valued at USD2bn at list prices, were ordered by Avion Group of Iceland in 2005.This order was then terminated and the aircraft were purchased by Deucalion.
The aircraft will be leased by Deucalion to AeroLogic, operating out of Leipzig, Germany, for cargo services on European-Asian routes.
