Low cost carrier JetBlue Airways Corporation (NasdaqGS:JBLU) has announced that it has launched a new Refundable Fares option for travellers.

The airline said that its Refundable Fares programme enables passengers to make unlimited reservation changes, including name changes, or opt for a full refund any time prior to the flight's departure.

Alterations can be made at http://www.jetblue.com via the 'Manage Flights' function or by calling the airline's reservations team.

In addition the programme also enables customers who have been unable to notify JetBlue of a change to their reservation before the flight departs to convert any unused funds into a JetBlue credit valid for one year from the date it is issued.

In order to mark the launch of its new fare option, through 13 February, the airline is offering TrueBlue Customers who book refundable travel quadruple TrueBlue points each way when they book online, or triple TrueBlue points each way when booking through other channels.
