AirTran Airways announces new destinations from Milwaukee

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc (NYSE: AAI), has announced that it is to add a number of new services from General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.
The airline said that it is to add nonstop seasonal flights to the following destinations: Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California; Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Seattle, Washington; San Francisco International Airport in San Francisco, California; San Diego-Lindbergh Field Airport in San Diego, California; and Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts.

In addition AirTran also announced that it is to offer additional nonstop flights from Milwaukee to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Flights to Los Angeles, Seattle/Tacoma and San Francisco will commence on 6 May 2008, whilst nonstop seasonal flights to San Diego and Boston and a second daily flight to Las Vegas will begin 21 May 2008.
The airline said that all routes will be served with the airline's Boeing 737-700 and Boeing 717-200 aircraft.
