Flights launched by EVA Air between Taiwan and China

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Taiwan-based airline EVA Air and its subsidiary UNI Air have launched non-stop charter flights between Taiwan and China.
The airlines will operate a combined total of up to eight return flights weekly from Taipei's Sung Shan Airport, Taoyuan International Airport and Kaohsiun to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Flights will run on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The direct charter flights began service on 4 July 2008. Previously, passengers wishing to travel between the two countries had to change airlines in Macau or Hong Kong.
