JetBlue hires MWW Group for contingency planning and other services

Public relations company MWW Group has revealed that it has been retained by JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) to provide the carrier with ongoing contingency planning and training services, incident response support and issues management counsel.

JetBlue will be provided with on-site support from a multi-national incident response team made up of senior counsellors from MWW Group's network of offices, affiliates and agency partners.

Under the terms of the agreement the JetBlue engagement and the multi-national incident response team will be managed from MWW Group's office in New York City under the direction of Matthew Rose and Carreen Winters, the company's corporate communications practice director and deputy director, respectively.

Meanwhile operations in the Caribbean and Latin America will be supported by The Jeffrey Group, MWW Group's partner and an independent agency in Latin America, with a network of local partners in each JetBlue market across the region.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
