Telos wins FAA Academy contract

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Academy's Distance Learning Branch has awarded a contract to Telos Corporation, an IT solutions and services provider.

The one-year contract is for the supply of hardware and software to the agency's Computer-Based Instruction (CBI) programme.

The contract, worth USD1m, makes Telos responsible for the installation of equipment in FAA offices in the US and its territories. Telos will be coordinating and overseeing delivery of all components of the CBI platforms, and integrating and installing the Government-provided image on these platforms. The contract also includes responsibility for overall delivery and installation of the platforms at FAA's CBI Learning Centres.
