American Airlines flight turns back due to smell of fumes

An American Airlines flight from Miami to Venezuela turned back to Miami International Airport on Thursday (19 June) after the passengers and crew noticed a smell of fumes.

The cause of the odour was not immediately identified.

The flight landed safely and the 186 passengers were transferred to another aircraft, The Associated Press reported.
