February traffic figures announced by Copa Holdings

Copa Holdings S.A. (NYSE: CPA) and its Copa Airlines and Aero Republica operating subsidiaries have announced preliminary passenger traffic statistics for the month of February 2008.

Copa Holdings' system-wide passenger traffic (RPM) for the month grew by 15.0%, while capacity (ASM) increased 12.2%. In February 2008 the airline's system load factor totalled 78.1%, showing a 1.9 percentage point increase compared to February 2007. Passenger traffic (RPM) for Copa Airlines rose by 16.1%, while capacity (ASM) increased 17.8%, resulting in a load factor of 81.6%.

In addition passenger traffic (RPM) at Aero Republica for February 2008 increased 8.4%, while capacity (ASM) decreased 9.6%. The airline's February load factor totalled 60.8%, a 10.1 percentage point increase over February 2007.
