AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of February 2008 have been announced by Great Lakes Aviation Ltd (OTC BB: GLUX).
The company said that scheduled service generated 12,265,000 revenue passenger miles (RPM's), showing an increase of 16.7% as compared to the same month last year, whilst available seat miles (ASM's) increased 18.9% to 27,122,000. This reportedly resulted in a load factor decrease of 0.9 points to 45.21%.
In addition the company carried 45,517 passengers during the month, showing an increase of 16.4% as compared to February 2007. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM) increased 6.2% from USD0.2842 to USD0.3017.
