Interline agreement with TAP Portugal announced by VRG

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (NYSE: GOL) (Bovespa: GOLL4), the parent company of Brazilian airlines GOL Transportes Aereos S.A. and VRG Linhas Aereas S.A., has announced an interline agreement between VRG and Portugal's TAP Portugal.

The company said that, under the terms of the agreement, passengers of both airlines can purchase tickets to all destinations served by VRG and TAP.

As part of the new agreement the company's passengers will also be provided with access to additional destinations through TAP's route network, including Portugal, Denmark, England, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.

The airline also said that miles can only be accumulated by passengers travelling under the Smiles frequent flier programme on flights operated by VRG.
