Delta to commence New York-JFK to Georgetown, Guyana service earlier than planned

A new nonstop service from New York's John F Kennedy International Airport to Georgetown, Guyana is to be launched a month early by Delta Airline Lines (NYSE:DAL).

The new service, which was originally scheduled to begin on 2 July, will now commence on 1 June 2008.

Flights from JFK depart at 01:10 every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving in Georgetown at 07:00. Return flights depart from Georgetown on the same days at 09:00, arriving back at JFK at 14:45.
