Expansion plans announced by Akron-Canton Airport

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
An expansion plan has been announced for the Akron-Canton Airport.
According to The Associated Press the 10-year, USD110m expansion includes plans for a longer runway and a customs facility for international flights.
In addition the proposed expansion, which would be funded by a combination of passenger airport fees and federal grants, would also include increased aircraft and auto parking, extra ticket counters and boarding gates, as well as a larger passenger screening area.
