Emergency landing made in South Carolina by Delta aircraft

An emergency landing was made on Wednesday (19 March) at Greenville-Spartanburg Airport in South Carolina by an aircraft operated by Delta Air Lines when smoke was detected in the cockpit by the pilot.
The aircraft was travelling from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Atlanta and was carrying 259 passengers.
According to The Associated Press, the problem was thought to have been caused by a malfunction in an air conditioning vent.
