The airline said that the OnAir service, which is based on Inmarsat's SwiftBroadband, will enable travellers to use their mobile phones and BlackBerry-type devices to send and receive text messages, e-mails and make and receive mobile phone calls whilst in-flight.
The six aircraft operated by the carrier will reportedly all be retro-fitted with OnAir equipment. In addition Jazeera Airways will also line-fit 34 A320s, which it currently has on order.
