Card Management Services solution for airlines launched jointly by TRX Inc and COA Solutions Ltd

TRX Inc (Nasdaq: TRXI), a technology company providing transaction processing and data integration services to the travel industry, launched yesterday (5 March) a joint Card Management Services solution for airlines, with COA Solutions Ltd. The product supports the airlines' Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) network together with corporate direct invoicing and payment solutions.

The components that have been put together are the COA e5 Card Management software and the company's DATATRAX file delivery and business intelligence platforms, to create the corporate Card Management Services. These technologies together with business intelligence and ERP integration, help reduce carriers' operating costs, increase service to corporate customers, improve customer loyalty, increase market share and reduce credit card fees and gives the airlines data security and business continuity.

In production since October 2007 the system is processing around USD600m on an annualised basis in UATP, besides other payment products for a major North American airline.
