Hawaiian Holdings Inc (Amex: HA), which owns Hawaiian Airlines, has reported an improvement in revenues but an increased loss for the first quarter of 2008.

The company recorded a 16.7% growth in operating revenue to USD251.2m, while the consolidated net loss for the three months ended 31 March 2008 amounted to USD19.9m or USD0.42 per basic and diluted share. In last year's first quarter the net loss amounted to USD11.9m, or USD0.25 per basic and diluted share.
