Northwest and Hertz offer additional miles for WorldPerks members

Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) has entered into a new agreement with vehicle rental company The Hertz Corporation.
The deal will enable Northwest's WorldPerks members to earn additional miles on car rentals from any of Hertz's more than 8,000 locations around the world.
Under the new agreement members of the frequent flyer plan can earn 50 WorldPerks miles per day for Hertz rentals of one to four days, and 500 WorldPerks miles for Hertz rentals of five days or more. Members must provide their WorldPerks number at the time of reservation or rental pickup.
Members can also save 50% and earn double miles on weekend rentals in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico until 30 June 2008.
