FlightSafety International, an aviation training organisation, is to provide pilot training for Bombardier's CRJ900 NextGen aircraft.

A new CRJ900 NextGen aircraft simulator has been installed at FlightSafety's Learning Center, which is adjacent to the Bombardier Aerospace facility in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The simulator for the CRJ900 NextGen aircraft features FlightSafety's VITAL visual system and electric motion and control loading technology.

Todd Young, vice-president of Customer Support at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft, said: "FlightSafety will handle the pilot training that Bombardier's own simulators cannot accommodate because of the increasing number of CRJ900 NextGen aircraft orders and the subsequent growing requirement for training".

FlightSafety also provides pilot training courses on all Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft models.
