Mesa Air Group Inc (Nasdaq: MESA) has revealed that it received a NASDAQ Staff Determination letter last week stating that the company does not currently comply with the filing requirements for continued listing.
This means that Mesa's securities are subject to delisting from The NASDAQ Global Select Market.
The company has requested a hearing before a NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel and will ask that its listing be continued. However, in a statement Mesa cautioned that there can be no assurance this will be approved.
The notice was triggered because of Mesa's failure to timely file its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended 31 March 2008. The company intends to file its Form 10-Q on or about 2 June 2008, which will precede its hearing before the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel.
