Mexican facility to make composite structure for Learjet 85

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier has revealed that the composite structure for its new Learjet 85 business jet will be made in Queretaro, Mexico.
The company's Queretaro factory will also manufacture the electrical harness and perform sub-assembly systems installation.
Final assembly, interior completions and flight testing of the aircraft will take place at Bombardier's Wichita facility.
The Learjet 85 is planned to enter service in the fiscal year 2012/13.
