Boeing signs USD3.2m order with Ampex Data Systems

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Ampex Data Systems Corporation, a subsidiary of Ampex Corporation (NASDAQ:AMPX), revealed on 6 May that it has received a new order from Boeing Commercial Aircraft Corporation.
The USD3.2m contract is for Ampex DSRs440 and DSRs500 airborne recorders, and for high-capacity disk and solid-state memory modules.
This latest order follows a series of contracts that Ampex Data Systems has received from Boeing since 2005 for flight test applications.
