Sensis Aerobahn service operational at Newark Airport

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Sensis Corporation has announced that its Aerobahn service is now operational at Newark Liberty International Airport, New York.
Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL) is using the service to provide real-time situational awareness of aircraft taxiing in order to manage aircraft pushbacks more efficiently and reduce taxi times. The airline also currently uses the Aerobahn service at Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport.
The Aerobahn service integrates flight schedule and operational data with Sensis Multistatic Dependent Surveillance, a multilateration surveillance system, to provide a real-time picture of aircraft taxiing on the ground.
