Airline pilot fails breath test at Heathrow - report

A United Airlines pilot was arrested on suspicion of being above the legal alcohol limit at London's Heathrow Airport on Sunday (19 October).
Police officers boarded a United Airlines aircraft at Heathrow's Terminal One and detained the pilot, who is now on police bail until 16 January 2009 while a full investigation is conducted.
A spokesperson for United Airlines stated that it operates a zero tolerance alcohol policy and the pilot has been suspended from service.
