Spare parts support agreement with Continental Airlines announced by Spirit AeroSystems

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Spirit AeroSystems Inc (NYSE:SPR), an independent supplier of commercial aircraft assemblies and components, has revealed that it has entered into a support agreement with Continental Airlines, under which it will supply structural parts and components for the carrier's total fleet of Boeing aircraft.
This contract will reportedly allow Continental to ensure availability for key parts and components for all Spirit catalogue items.
The carrier currently operates 370 Boeing aircraft, consisting of 737, 757, 767 and 777 models.
