China Airlines announces changes to flight numbers

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Taiwanese carrier China Airlines has announced that it is changing the flight numbers on several south-east Asia and Taoyuan-Kaohsiung routes with its new winter schedule, beginning on 26 October 2008.

The airline is changing a total of 60 flight numbers in order to prepare for the expansion of its network and plan for future scheduled cross-strait flights.

Flights to and from the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam will be given numbers between CI 701 and CI 799, flights to and from Thailand and Cambodia will numbered between CI 801 and CI 899, flights to and from Hong Kong will have numbers between CI 901 and CI 999 and connecting flights between Taoyuan and Kaohsiung will be numbered between CI 300 and CI 310.
