Croatia signs contract to purchase for Airbus A319s

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Airbus has announced that Croatia Airlines has signed a firm contract to purchase four Airbus A319 aircraft.
Croatia Airlines already has eight Airbus A320 family aircraft currently in operation. The A320 family includes A318, A319, A320 and A321 aircraft.
The new A319s will feature the all-new cabin and can accommodate 132 passengers with a two-class configuration. The aircraft are powered by CFM International CFM56-5 engines.
The airline plans to operate the aircraft on its extended European and domestic networks.
Financial details of the contract were not announced.
