Horizon Air, a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group Inc (NYSE:ALK), has announced that it is launching its new daily direct service between Pendleton, Oregon and Seattle on 28 October for a limited time.

The new service, which will be operated on 76 seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft, will cease on 1 December as the result of a decision by the Pendleton city council and airport manager to endorse a bid for nine-seat, single-engine aircraft flights to Portland.
