Delta Air Lines expands services to Latin America and the Caribbean

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has announced that it is expanding its services in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The airline is adding nine new flights, as well as increasing its seasonal schedule to six destinations.

There will be new services from Atlanta to Tegucigalpa, Honduras; Guayaquil, Ecuador; Manaus, Brazil; Santiago, Dominican Republic and Recife-Fortaleza, Brazil starting between 18 and 21 December 2008.

From New York-JFK there will be services to Buenos Aires, Argentina; Bogota, Colombia and Bonaire starting between 18 and 20 December and from Nashville, Tennessee there will be a new service to Cancun, Mexico starting on 27 December.

Additionally, there will be increased services between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Aruba; George Town, Cayman Islands; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Providenciales, Turks and Caicos; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and St. Maarten.
