Air Wisconsin announces new managing director of maintenance

Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation has reported the promotion of Ed Baranowski to managing director of maintenance.
In his new role Baranowski will be reporting directly to James Rankin, president and CEO. He will be responsible for decisions relating to airworthiness, serviceability and flight safety, as well as liasing on maintenance with regulatory bodies including the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Baranowski has worked at Air Wisconsin since 1984, where he started as a line mechanic. Most recently he was employed by the airline as director of maintenance operations.
