Lufthansa reports results for third quarter and first nine months of 2008

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
The Lufthansa Group has reported its results for the third quarter and the first nine months of 2008.
For the third quarter 2008 revenues increased from EUR6,278m for the same period last year to EUR6,540m. Undiluted earnings per share for the quarter dropped from EUR1.28 for the third quarter 2007 to EUR0.33.
Revenues for the first nine months of 2008 increased to EUR18,596m from EUR16,367m for the same period of the previous year. Undiluted earnings per share for the period decreased from EUR3.45 for the first nine months of 2007 to EUR1.20.
