Aircraft maker Boeing Co (NYSE: BA) has reported plans to combine its subsidiary Alteon with existing training groups within Boeing in order to create a new unified training organisation.

The new organisation, which will keep the name Alteon, will use both Commercial Airplanes and Alteon resources to form an integrated business.

The business will encompass all development, deployment and delivery of aviation training and flight services. It will also support customers requiring courseware and instructor-led training in addition to those only wishing to rent simulator time.
