Austrian Airlines reaches collective agreement on commercial-technical employees' salaries

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Austrian Airlines has announced that it has reached an agreement on the salaries of around 3,500 commercial-technical employees.
These salaries will be increased by a basic rate of EUR10 and by 3.7% with effect from 1 November 2008.
Another round of talks concerning issues of the Technical Department, between the management, the union and Austrian works council, has been scheduled to take place on 16 October.
