Transaero commences new Imperial Class on long haul routes

Transaero Airlines has announced the introduction of its new Imperial Class, which is available on its long haul routes in Boeing 777s and 747-400 aircraft.

The airline stated that tickets are already on sale for these flights, which now have four class configurations: Imperial Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Tourist Economy Class.

According to Transaero, its Imperial Class passengers will benefit from a daily, personal, 24 hour information hotline and a valet assisted airport service to handle check in, baggage and other pre-flight procedures.

The Imperial Class salon seats 12 passengers in a 1-2-1 configuration with wide seats which recline 180 degrees, in flight entertainment such as individual LCD TVs, audio visual multimedia players, business publications, a personal travel-kit and a varied menu served on Lomonosovsky Porcelain and Gusevsky Crystal.

Additionally, Imperial Class passengers will each receive a limited edition porcelain tea service engraved with the portrait of one of the Russian emperors.
