Emirates receives two Boeing 777 aircraft

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Dubai-based airline Emirates has taken delivery of two Boeing 777 aircraft, it was announced on Friday (29 August).

The aircraft, a Boeing 777-200LR and a 777-300ER, increase Emirates' fleet of all-wide bodied passenger aircraft to 111.

The airline will be using the two new aircraft on long-haul routes, including flights to North and South America.
