Finnair might be interested in SAS long-haul operations - report

Jukka Hienonen, CEO of the Finnish airline Finnair Plc (OMX Helsinki:FIA1S), has reportedly told Reuters that Finnair might be interested in Scandinavian airline operator SAS Group's (OMX Stockholm:SAS) (OMX Copenhagen:SAS DKK) intercontinental operations if they were for sale.
"That would be a natural area to strengthen our position," the CEO told Reuters.
The CEO had added that Finnair had not had any talks with SAS, reported the Finnish news agency STT.
